Bird’s Tongue recipe

You can make this recipe with the following Zerda pasta:

Ingredients
- 150g of Zerda® Bird’s Tongue pasta
 - Sunflower oil
 - 250g of lamb, cut into pieces
 - 1 chopped onion
 - 1 tbsp of tomato paste
 - 1 handful of washed chickpeas
 - 1 large potato
 - 1 carrot, cut in half
 - 1 peeled and blended tomato
 - 1 cinnamon stick
 - Salt and pepper
 - 1 tsp of sweet paprika
 - ½ tsp of turmeric
 

Preparation
Step 1:
In a casserole dish, brown the onion and lamb in 4 tablespoons of sunflower oil. Add the tomato paste, chickpeas, potato, carrot, blended tomato, cinnamon stick, and spices. Let cook for 5 minutes.
Step 2:
Add 2.5 liters of hot water and the bouquet. Let simmer for 1 hour over low heat and covered.
Step 3:
Remove the bouquet and add 150g of Zerda® Bird’s Tongue pasta. Let cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4:
Add 3 tablespoons of chopped coriander and serve.
